Cooling Audit

A cooling audit is an evaluation of a building's or organizations cooling system to identify opportunities for energy savings and improvement in energy efficiency. This audit includes measurement of energy consumption, analysis of cooling load, and identification of cooling equipment and systems that are consuming energy inefficiently. The goal of a cooling audit is to reduce energy consumption and costs, improve the performance of the cooling system, and minimize the environmental impact of energy use. The audit process may include an examination of the cooling equipment, control systems, building envelope, and other factors that impact cooling efficiency. The results of the audit can be used to develop a plan for improving the cooling system and reducing energy consumption.
